I watched a dude jump out of a moving truck with an MP5 that he owned and run off into the woods. I then heard about 6 shots maybe 8, which was followed by a loud, "Wooohoooo." We all ran into the woods to see that there was dead squirrel, still hanging on the tree with like 4 bullet holes around it, in front of him.

    Move out of redneck land.

    POT AND KETTLE Mr. Florida.

A man who doesn't get excited enough to jump out of a truck when he sees a squirrel...well I just can't imagine. Must be queer or rich or something.

    I'm definetly rich.

Rich with ideas that are better than jumping out of a goddamned truck with a goddamned submachinegun to shoot goddamned SQUIRRELS.

Maybe the squirrel was threatening him or had recently had sex with a member of his family.

Hey, a TG firearms thread -- cool. Cing, I assume you're a member over at AR15.com(?). Anyone else?

I haven't attended any get-togethers like those shown in this thread, but living only a couple hours away from Camp Perry is very nice. I've shot up there several times and really enjoyed it. I'm also within driving distance of Knob Creek, but haven't attended yet. That's still on the To Do list.

    JMJ, nice toys!

    Yes, arfcom member name: DaTrueDave

I wish Perry was closer to me... I'll be shooting there soon. I'm still saving up to buy a service rifle so I can start competing. The National Matches would be a cool way to get back into competition!

Hey, alright. My arfcom member name....Strag.

I haven't shot past 300 yards at Perry. The wind there makes it hard enough at 300, so I can't imagine 600.

I'm actually a competitive shooter. I'm planning on eventually making the national matches at Camp Perry some year....maybe 2007. I shoot bullseye pistol mostly, I really enjoy it.

I'm a member at ar15.com, but don't really post there. They only other forum that I frequent would be sigforum.com. I've been to a get together with a bunch of people from there, that's where we got to shoot MG's in New Hampshire.

Thanks, I like them. They are the best toys, the kind that freak out your hippy-liberal inlaws

Oh boy, Sigs. Good memories involve Sigs.

I can definetly say, being under the legal age for everything (even driving and sex haha) really screws you over when it comes to shooting.

Can't wait for THAT to change.

I don't think that there's a legal age for shooting anywhere in the United States... What are you talking about?

    Re: Peace and guns....

There's a legal age for owning firearms though.

Not to mention this is Florida, and if you don't own a double barrel shotgun and your name is Joejohn-Jack then you're a biblethumping idiot and guns and anything enjoyable ever is a bad thing to do.

Hmmm, this is all I could find:

It is unlawful to sell, give, lend or transfer a pistol or other arm or weapon "other than an ordinary pocketknife" to a minor under the age of 18 without his parent's permission, or to any person of unsound mind.

It is unlawful for any dealer to sell any "pistol, Springfield rifle or other repeating rifle" to a minor.

A minor under 18 years of age may not possess a firearm, other than an unloaded firearm at his home, unless engaged in lawful activities.
So, which part do you find difficult to comply with?
