Re: Your Weapons Thread
Ok, I am game. Here are just a couple pics of the many guns I have sitting around the house. These are a couple of my favorite ones that have "picture worthyness".
This one is a LMT MRP CQB in 5.56 and 6.8mm. It has been customized with tons of gadgets, it is a blast to shoot!!
This one is another from LMT. This one is a registered Short barrel (10") with a suppressor. Yes it was sorta a pain to get both of them, thanks for the 6 month wait BATF!
Here is a pistol I bought last year, it is a Kimber Dessert Warrior 45ACP.
The good or bad thing about all this is, I have a crap load more guns at the house. I use all the ones I own for various reasons. And yes, they can get real expensive fast!!!

Re: Your Weapons Thread
Man, you guys have the good stuff... Noveske, Lewis, SBR, 6.8mm... I'm struggling to scratch up enough to convince my wife to let me have a S&W or RRA AR15.
How do you like the T1? It looks so small and fragile... I think that's what I want to put on my rifle when I get it, though...

I finally picked up that setuup last week after I got back. I like the T1, but I am still getting used to using it with the 3X magnifier. It was kinda a pain to find just the right distance between each two as to not cause almost a distorted point when aiming. It is all good now. As for durability, I have used them at work and love them, really compact and they are very precise on the MOA dot. You can really drill some targets with it!

Indeed
Laz0rz! Pew-Pew.
Christmas present from the wife, Ruger Security Six .357.
Now I just need to find a Colt 1911 and a decent shotgun and I'll be set for a while.

Re: Your Weapons Thread
Seeing I live on the other side of the ocean and there is no way of getting that much fire power in your house
here is my toy..
and
Its a 26 pound model
meaning the force you need to pull right up to the firing position is 26 pounds.
It has 3 carbon stabilizers, 1 pointing to the front and 2 to the back.
The visor is a optic fibre with a special color,
it doesn't use a power source
it just picks up the ambient light and makes the ends glow up.
I have a self made "clicker" on it,
witch gives a signal (click .. hence the name.. ) if you reach the firing position.
Meaning if you pull back the arrow it gives a click when you reach exactly the same spot, giving you more accuracy.
I used to train twice a week, and in the summer season 1 match a week,
but I had to stop due to a shoulder injury (broke it) that never healed good..
Maybe one day I start again..
my other weapon is my wife..
but I think there is a different thread to post pictures of her..

Re: Your Weapons Thread
You americans and your guns... so much violence... it sickens me....
I WANT ONE!
I basically dont have any weapons worthy of posting other than a few paintball guns i have.. If i were to live over in America though i would find myself buying a colt and some form of scoped long range weapon, whether it be bolt action or semi auto.
Something like this?:

Re: Your Weapons Thread
I have a Longbow and a shotgun too. So yeah, not including the dozens of blades I have (swords and knives) my house is a bit of a fortress. I'll probably be selling my Commander to get myself another Government model though. I like the full length instead of the snub feel.
I also own 4 or 5 paintball guns. I should post those up sometime.

Re: Your Weapons Thread
I own all of these they are really cheap and easy to use and give me great pleasure.
Handy under the bed number.
Gotta have one of these opens things real easy.
My favorite useful for chopping wood too.
This I like to keep for when I'm out and about.
For up close and personal.
I have been thinking about getting a gun lately but the above are just too much damm fun.
Sculls.

Hm, that Enfield looks very familiar, Trooper. Are you familiar with the Enfield Mk.5 "Jungle Carbine"?
I have a "Jungle Carbine" and it has been reliable since my Grand father handed it over. In fact, I got my most recent deer with it. They may say it has an odd drifting problem, but I've never seen that. I even have the original rubber padding on the butt of the stock.

Re: Your Weapons Thread
that jungle carbine is worth alot of money, over 600 bucks. do not ever sell it. My Enfield is a No.4 MK2. .303 with a 10 round mag. I shot about 6 shots thru it when i got it before i cleaned it up, which i will post pics. I shot it not knowing the sites flipped up but at 30 yards that thing was right on target. I wanna get some more ammo and really give it a go.
The way i look at it, that gun shop got robbed for what i payed for it and how nice i cleaned it up.

Interesting, I never expected that, but I did know that it was worth something since I heard an authentic bayonet had auctioned for over $150 at a show near where I lived.
I do not know what it is about the Enfields, but they are very easy to clean up, maintain, and to shoot.
Now, does anyone know the names of the Japanese WW2 bolt action rifles? My Grand father also passed 2 of them to my family. Does anyone know anything about Japanese rifles? I think the rifles are Type-99s. I heard that they had a reputation of the barrel exploding.
My Grand father also passed along 2 Italian WW2 bolt action rifles. (Imliquer Garganoe? I don't know the proper spelling.) I know little about the Italian rifles except for their tendency to jam and to be very inaccurate.
Yes, my family does collect historical guns, but we still have yet to come across an actual bayonet.
