DiRT2 1st 3 races in SP... a lot of images

DiRT2 was released yesterday, picked it up this AM...

Did the first three races of the career... Good game, plenty of options, great sounds and visuals... too much bloom thou, (what the hell is it with all this bloom lately, both in PC games and console).

Not a simulation of course, but still a good better then arcade game... my owner main complaint so far is the difficulty, 4 levels of difficultly, I'm playing on the 2nd (serious), and it took 3 to 5 attempts on each race to get a podium finish, I used the game pad today (will try my wheel later but didn't want to drag it out of the closet so early in my morning, lol), but with the game pad, the left trigger is the brake but it seems to do NOTHING, then A is the handbrake and that is touchy, throws you around with just a little tap.

Presentation is great... fun racer... but not for all.

IMO

.

It's the same engine being used in Flashpoint, so I'm pretty sure that bloom will be there to. Wish I had the extra cash to pick this up.

Question, does this have the gold NO FEAR livery like McRae used in the '06 X-Games, or just the black? Always loved the clean look of the gold one.

more time with it... with my wheel it plays a lot better, more easier to control... using the throttle to feather the turns and slides work well... a lot of unlocks, MP in a open server is a crash derby but had a private match with friends last night and was great fun.

So if you liked GRID, DiRT1, then DiRT2 might be worth picking up... but of course we also have NFS Shift and FM3 coming in under a month. Pick wisely or buy all, lol.

Forza 3 is pretty much a done deal for me, can't wait for those Forza Saturdays again.

I'm thinking about buying DiRT 2. I loved GRID, and this looks like real good fun!

Played the demo, hoping to trade in a bunch of a game and pick this up soon. Had a blast with the demo. I love the Trophy trucks.
