DiRT2 was released yesterday, picked it up this AM...
Did the first three races of the career... Good game, plenty of options, great sounds and visuals... too much bloom thou, (what the hell is it with all this bloom lately, both in PC games and console).
Not a simulation of course, but still a good better then arcade game... my owner main complaint so far is the difficulty, 4 levels of difficultly, I'm playing on the 2nd (serious), and it took 3 to 5 attempts on each race to get a podium finish, I used the game pad today (will try my wheel later but didn't want to drag it out of the closet so early in my morning, lol), but with the game pad, the left trigger is the brake but it seems to do NOTHING, then A is the handbrake and that is touchy, throws you around with just a little tap.
Presentation is great... fun racer... but not for all.
Question, does this have the gold NO FEAR livery like McRae used in the '06 X-Games, or just the black? Always loved the clean look of the gold one.

So if you liked GRID, DiRT1, then DiRT2 might be worth picking up... but of course we also have NFS Shift and FM3 coming in under a month. Pick wisely or buy all, lol.
Eight months later I finally received the reports from three peer-reviews on my latest manuscript with the University of Toronto Press. This will be my third book with the same press and the second...

Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
