My daughters 1st ticket... video...
Just sharing... cool to be able to capture it and hold it against her for a while... lol
Just about one hour AFTER I replied to someones thread about his red light camera ticket he got in another forum... I get a knock on the door, registered mail... My daughter got her first ever traffic citation, caught by a red light camera, stills and video... Guess who has to pay the 125 dollar fine? ME... guess who's grounded? NOT ME! lol

Not too bad, but she could have come to a better stop. I'm surprised she got a ticket for it. Unless it is one of those odd intersections that do not allow a right on red, didn't see a sign in the video though.

Re: My daughters 1st ticket... video...
Your allowed right on red UNLESS posted "no right on red"... but you still have to come to a complete stop BEFORE the stop line.
It's a cheap ticket... IMO... only rookie officers would write someone for that, but cameras don't care.

I've been wondering about that here, doing right on red with cameras. I usually don't completely stop, but I do yield. No ticket yet.

Its a good lesson, and I bet next time she pulls up to a traffic camera controlle intersection she will not make the same mistake.

I got busted for doing 45 in a 25. It was going through a 2-block-long suburban valley following a steep downhill. After that I put my truck in 1st gear and went down the hill with the manual tranny roaring, so my brakes wouldn't take a lot of wear.

I got pulled over doing 85 in a 65 a few years ago on an interstate in Pennsylvania. Somehow my girlfriend at the time talked us in to just a warning.
