This snooty human bastard decides he's taking my bride (that's my character and her in the background... look familiar, Magnum ;P ), my friend's bride, and my cousin back to the castle with his buddies for some... "fun". I'm guessing he never watched Braveheart.
After much blood is spilled to get there and a deal is turned down, said snooty human bastard...

As you can infer, the city elf meets his wardog (named Casey) in a much different fashion than the human noble. He's friendly, I swear. Ignore the gore spattered on his fur.
Looks a lot like Oblivion. These are the first screens I've seen of this since I haven't had much interest in it, and the graphics don't look too overly impressive.

Great stories can't be told in a open world game,,, ie: Oblivion or Armed Assault 2 for example... for a story to be told you have to be lead down the story... ie: Dragon Age or Modern Warfare.
Sure you got good stories in the open world/campaign games... but not great unless your lead down a track.
Didn't realize it wasn't open world. And I agree with you Magnum, I was just basing that comment off the visuals.

Yeah visuals never were the games strong point, it does have some nice lighting effects though. However, the great story, and game play make up for it. Plus the Toolkit is already out for it, so here comes unlimited content pretty soon.
