Damn man, That's an awesome picture.
Spec, What does those things top out at? That thing was cookin' when it was comming in to land on the carrier.
I personaly was wondering... There's a guy in the window of the heli when it comes in to land, looks like he's thinking about jumping out or somthing, why didn't he?- 52

That guy in the hatch was my friend Cpl. Claskin. On landings and approach, the crewchief is calling out to the pilots altitude and object location warnings (Trees, etc) . That guy in the hatch was my old job.

CH-46 Seaknights and CH-47 Chinooks top out around 120Kts. Thats dash speed. Cruise is around 90-105Kts. Approach speed is about 30 Kts. They were at about 45Kts due to a massive headwind.
