Yes it is. Allied Airfield used to be a small aviation junkyard, but I don't think it even exists anymore. There used to be quite a few of those out in Tucson, but as military mothball and demilitarization procedures have changed, I think most of them have disappeared.

Re: Google Earth - Cool places to visit
Today I noticed that the roads and sat photos weren't lining up correctly. I would come back to the location later and they would be perfectly aligned... Anyone know what causes this, and how to prevent or fix this?

Too bad there's no topo data for that site. I can't tell if it's a crater or a volcano.

Just zoom straight in, my house has three dormer windows and is on the right side of the street, there's a house with a covered pool directly south of it.

Re: Google Earth - Cool places to visit
If you have a placemark on you house, open up the little dialouge box, do directions to here, and copy&paste those exact coordinates, it takes you to the direct spot on the world. Just take out the lat and lon parts, add N and W, and tada!

Re: Google Earth - Cool places to visit
If you have'nt checked it out yet view New Orleans. There is an option now where you can see what it looks like now after Katrina hit. The option appears in the same corner as map and satellite. It's interesting to switch between the view of what it looked like in 2003 and what it looks like now.
