Re: Some Photography (56k warning)

I've spent my fair share of time on the back side of the lens and used to have a darkroom in my basement! (Then Luna moved in and we needed to actually use it as the second bathroom it was meant to be).

I must say, you are quite a gifted photographer.

What are you using for equipment?

Darkroom... man its a shame i have never done film, im thinking of getting an old rangefinder camera just becose B&W looks so great on film.
I have a Canon 20 D and a EFS 17-85 IS lens (brilliant wide angle lens with image stabilizing, got a full second exposure handheld once ) and a EF 50mm f1.8 lens. Plus all the other things like tripod and release cable. Still need to get a good macro and a telelens though.

Is the Canon 20 D an SLR digital? I've been wanting to get an SLR digital ever since I sold my Minolta 35MM with all the toys. One of these days I'll save my pennies and get one. :-)

Yeah, its an Digital SLR. It does require quite a few pennies though...

I have a Nikon N65, a 28-80 lens, and a 100-300 lens.

Love photography and also use an N65. Sinister, you really work that Depth of Field to your advantage, something I wish I had a better eye for. I tend to go for the dramatic, weather, colors, etc...

Some of my better stuff...

Portage Lake, Alaska

Numerous waterfalls draining under a glacier, Whittier, Alaska

Window View, Cliff Dwellers, Arizona

Boogy Boarder getting ready to ride the waves, Grand Haven, Michigan

God Beams on Lake Michigan, Grand Haven, Michigan

Boogy Boarder in gale, Lake Michigan

My favorite shot, Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Re: Some Photography (56k warning)

Yeah the 100-300 is just amazing. I got some great photos when I went to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks 2 years ago.

Re: Some Photography (56k warning)

I have to find a way of getting them onto my computer. The ones in the link I posted were put onto a CD when I got them developed, the ones from Yosemite and Sequoia aren't. I will see if my friend will let me borrow his photo scanner.
