    Freeze

    Hi Guys,

Just got these pictures of frozen cars, got them in a powerpoint presentation but I copy/paste them in some pics to be able to post them here.

Look at the antenna of the car on the second pic!

BTW no idea where these were taken, but just enjoy.

Holy freakin' crap on a stick!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature, who has no chance at being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. -- John Stuart Mill--

    Wowza... So beautiful yet depressing...

How could it be? Rapid drop on temprature?

Fun, fun and more fun. But do not be selfish. Provide some fun and you will receive some fun.

Now im no expert on these matters but I think it has something to do with subzero temperatures and a high wind coming from the sea (or lake). The spray of the water freezes to the cars, street and trees and grows from there on.
You can see the van where the side facing the water has more ice on it than the otherside.

But this is just my idea.

http://www.pbase.com/scherrer/s2_january_2005_ice_storm - mentions the powerpoint presentation, but the pictures on that page appear to be from the same storm..

(refer to location shown at left)

I've been there when it was that cold.. but not near the water. It hurts.
