It part getting use to, part training, part equipment. To prevent blacking out you do what is called "The Hook". You clench your butt cheeks real tight and say "hook" like you are trying to cough something up. A little hard to explain without a demo but you do hear the pilot doing this. Gear wise, Jet pilots do get G suits that helps prevent blood from rushing to your legs.
