BTW. With the cellphone and professor.

As the Dean, I would back my professors up. However, if they guy does have problems in other regards and sucks in general he must be 86ed.

If the student came to my office, I'd say. If you do not use your cell-phone in class again it should not happen again.
Then I would toss him 40 dollars cash (or what ever it is worth) and say that's for the damaged cell-phone.

If the proffesor request the student be removed from the class, I would obliege.

I can't stress it enough for order to be maintain in the class room. Sure, destroying the Cell-phone did not need to be done.

I would have two strikes. Strike one, you leave the class (no grade penality). Strike two, your out of the class for good.


BTW also. The one with the wind shield washers. The last vehicle did a nasty head butt on his shield. I do not feel sorry for them.
