That was pretty good. I know how he did some of that stuff, and I think I know how he did others, but I'm not sure exactly how he was doing the back and forth behind his back stuff at the end. Perhaps it was because the video was of such poor quality, but I don't see how he could do that with just one laser. Maybe he was using two lasers and two fibers?

Regardless, that was a good show.

yeah that was pretty good... for the stuff at the end, he just had two, "double-ended" lasers palmed. He could cover one or both ends of each laser with his hand. That's how he made it look like he was bending it, and how he turned one laser into two, etc.

I'm not sure that lasers can be made that bright or that wavelength in a package that can be palmed. I think it was fiber.

really? laser pointers are pretty ubiquitous these days... I'm no optics expert, but I figured you could make a green one not much bigger than the standard red ones (which can be TINY).

Plus - if it was fiber, wouldn't you only see a dot at the end of the fiber?

I haven't seen any green ones that are smaller than the one that he holds in the beginning of his show. Maybe there are smaller ones, but I haven't seen them. Plus they need more power than red ones.

Nope, fiber acts as a lens, regardless of its length (within reason), so it depends on how the end is ground.

ah ok... you're saying he has a green laser in his "back pocket" and then two fibers running down each sleeve? That makes sense.

Except he is wearing short sleeves. I think you were right about the green laser pointers. I did a search on google about green laser pointers and this was the first sight that came up. Some of them are pretty small. How did he hang his shirt on the laser? It looked like maybe his left hand pressed something on the stand holding the laser.

I own a >55mw laser, capable of shining 26 miles in ideal conditions. It's no larger than a regular pen laser. The largest parts of lasers are the battery compartments.

I'll post what I had to say in another forum concerning that video.

There was some definate misdirection going on when he was hanging his shirt and the hanger on the 'beam'. If you watch him during this you'll see him glance quickly at the right pillar, and place his hand on it as if to rest, but watch more carefully as he moves it slightly when he blocks the beam.

The grabbing the beam is just an expansion on the D'Lite trick, Two small laser devices in one hand, one in the other. you'll see he gave that away at about 2:28 in the video. He had 3 lasers in hand at this point.

The final thing was just a laser beam from the floor straight up (or ceiling straight down) while he was stabbing his beam into the ground, then simply turning off his handhelds.

I don't know for sure if that's how most of it's done, but I think it's pretty close. Either way -- It's not figuring out the tricks for me, but rather seeing the presentation. I would pay to see him doing that trick as he did that set very masterfully, despite the one obvious flash he did. The performance is the real amazing part.
