double post but probably the biggest thing I miss about living outside of Philly is going/watching Flyers games. Anyway, Ron Hextall is going to be inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame next week, so here is a clip of his highlights. He is not your average goalie.

Ya know - I'm not a hockey fan by any means but certainly can appreciate a true athlete and competitor Hextall definitely embodies that.. impressive.

looked like a bit of a cheap-shot artist to me... cross checkin, whackin people in the ankles... all without fear of response, cause if you touch the goalie, you get jumped by the rest of the team...
