This is NOT funny.

If you are a second or third generation immigrant, you would sympathize with the idea of, say, a father who is a cab driver in America being approached by someone who would educate their teenage sons in his homeland for free. It seems that our enemies are praying on people's emotions and doing a bait-and-switch, instead of a school with a well-rounded religious education, they fall into an extremist school, live in blight, and are denied contact with anyone once there. The result is an 18 year old kid who returns to the states with a less-than high-school education, without the resources to get a job, and indoctrinated with the idea that decadence is evil.

Dr. Pausch passed away yesterday morning after a long and spirited battle against pancreatic cancer. He was only 47. This is the last lecture he gave at Carnegie Mellon University. It's very inspiring and entertaining, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
