Re: Internet Video Collection
Arguabley the best Anime ever made, Akira (late 80's, watch the redubbed or subtitled versions). With some red hot Linkin Park tunes overlayed.

the orb - a huge evergrowing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the ultraworld: Arguabley one of the most influencial groups for Electronic music (early 90's)

Pinball Number to 12: Sesamme Street. Arguabley the best childrens' programme ever
made (the 70's).

afx - otherwise known as a PR two played map loading Aphex Twin (some Dev has quality in musical taste imho)

Electro?? Arguabley came before what is rudely called Electronica nowadays.. Some people don't know the roots and should be humedumactaed! (imho).. Or is it I just get a bit cynical with all the dross and hype nowadays (well.. that's another story that runs a few more years back than nowadays).
Some guy says on youtube: "do you imagine how mad this sounded in 1984"? Yes, just like you mate
And all the tape swapping aswell

Re: Internet Video Collection
Start as you mean to carry on; as they say. Well, I am moving back to Oxford very soon so i have to keep you lovelies all wrapped up snug in the safe knowledge that another damned troublesome lib headed hippy freak is not rocking your psyche and knows nothing anyway so. But yeah, before anyone says anything - I went to Oxford..... Brookes... So since that aint actually Oxford Uni, you an always count on that for my pleb. Aye!
Anyway. This was the first music I heard and lived with. I grew up on this. My first record was from Madness a few years later (liking Ska music impreses Czechs btw but hey they have good taste in music those guys). I would put this on in Lewisham (south east London) all the time. This is my first music. When it came out again in the mid-nineties (I was in Oxford then) I went to see it in town (London centre) and almost fainted twice in the first 20 minutes. I wonder why?

A Tribe Called Quest. Is anything else needed to say? Islam, terrorist? Bah, who forgot A Tribe Called Quest - the most succinct hiphop group ever? You want to know spirituality? You listen to these guys, they are.. humane!:

Erm.. just to prove a point, this is, in my opinion, one of the best hiphop tunes ever made. Welcome to the real deal. Listen, hear and understand:

With all the trash spoken here and in the world, I'll leave it there because I can't top that but to you people that are tainted, I suggest to 'hear', or get spirituality, or at least understand it instead of supping the bull.
Btw: if ur in Oxford (I know some of you guys are around there) or anyone, I would welcome you and show you the Pitt Rivers (anthropological museum), and some bars (btw, Oxford chicks are uber!).

Re: Internet Video Collection
I haven't seen this posted here yet. For those that don't know this is an internet musical directed by Joss Whedon featuring Neal Patric Harris and Nathon Fillion. It is an amazing production that is damned entertaining.
