Re: Looking for Photoshop pros to make TG billboards!

I'll post pics of the ones I chose in-game shortly (hopefully) after 11pm EST. There's already more than enough awesome ones in this thread, I'm just giving some more time in case someone is making one but not done with it yet.

And Whiskey had a really good idea with all the icons of the squads...I think most squads would like to see that one up in-game.

edit: does anyone know how to get the Nvidia .dds authoring plugin to work with Photoshop CS 1? =/ I've tried so many times and it's installed in the right spot but I just can't find how to save files as .dds. I have a separate program called DDS converter but it's kinda crappy and the colors get altered when i save the file.

edit2: nm apparently I have to double click the plugin in the folder to make it work -_-

Wow, I'm amazed how simple it is to add custom stuff to a map now...you literally just create like a folder and drop the thing into it

Bright colors dont work well in my map though because of the intense sunset light directly on the billboard. Most of them look fine in-game but Whiskey's looks super bright and you can't really see the writing.

Another entry, with a couple of variations. "Mindblowing" fits better, but I love the interplay of "teamwork" and "never seen anything like it".

Re: Looking for Photoshop pros to make TG billboards!

Oh man the second one owns. I'll wait till 11pm as I said but I'm definately using the 2nd one .

Just to show how it looks in-game (those arent necessarily the ones I'm picking, just a test, but those 2 will be hard to beat )

Check out the screenshot Kilrog posted. Because of the railing on the bottom of the billboard, I'd suggest moving your text on the bottom up a little bit. That way it will be more visible from more angles.

Re: Looking for Photoshop pros to make TG billboards!

Okay, I don't have photoshop so I did this with MS Paint and Powerpoint. It's kind of rough, more of a concept sketch really...what do you think?

Re: Looking for Photoshop pros to make TG billboards!

Well it was a tough decision but I had to pick only 3. I went for a mix of serious/funny ones. I really wanted to include Whiskey's squad logos cause I thought the squads would like it, so I ended up adding a Dicecream billboard to the map to get a 4th slot. I gave you guys credit in the map description when you load it.

Thanks again, I'll keep the other billboards for my next map.
