Dog or fish? You decide

Here are some movies of my dog Sam who hasn't figured out whether she is a fish or a dog.

Those are awesome Driz! She certainly seems streamlined enough to be a fish. My dogs have always loved the water...but damn! She's diving!

Thanks, she's a lot of fun and she will do that all day long. I'm still waiting for her to grow gills.

Can you blame her? Its 106 FREAKING degrees outside right now at 6:13 PM. I'd be in my pool too but its too hot to be enjoyable.

Seriously, though, cool dog.

She is a Lab/Pit Bull Terrier mix. She has the muscle tone of a Pit Bull but the temperament of a Lab. She is very agile and smart sometimes too smart.

sounds like a great dog to have around the family. loyal like a lab, but strong enough to back up the bark.

It's too bad she is afraid of her own shadow though. She has a strong bark which is good but not much bite

Exactly. Any smart dog would want to spend as much time under water as possible when it's this hot.

Good dog!

Does she try to rescue you guys when you go swimming ?

My buddies Lab used to do that. They had a hard time teaching her that sometimes people jump in the water for fun

No she doesn't try and rescue anyone she is very sure not to jump on anyone. All she wants to do is get her toy. But I am about 210lbs and she can pull me all the way across the pool if I hold onto he tail for a free ride So if I ever drown I hope it is close to her toy.
