Thunder Over Michigan (Air Show)
Found a really neat air show this weekend, Thunder Over Michigan at Willow Run airport near Detroit. It was almost all vintage warbirds, plus a huge WWII ground battle reenactment. I have all the pics I took up on the web right here (please note there are 30 pics spread across 3 pages in that gallery).
Here's some highlights.
T-6 Texans
Ground battle
Allied advance
Bang! Your fake dead!

He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

NICE show.. that looks like a good one. I was a EAA Warbirds line crewman a few times when I had time - those warbirds are the best to hang out withup-close.. especially when you are there from dawn till dusk before and after all the crowds.
Since we're sharing, here is a travelogue from a friend of mines trip to OshKosh - it was a few weeks ago.. they got some NICE pictures.
