Here in Texas, there are still "dry" counties. I would become so politically involved if my county were dry, it wouldn't even be funny....

That's a Dallas thing. When I was in Las Colinas last month I could literally drive 1/4 mile in one direction and buy beer at the grocery store, or drive 1/4 mile in the other direction and wander around looking for the beer section before I realized my terrible mistake.

It's all about the liquor store lobby.
