high school kids doing halo theme song
this was cool. bunch of high school kids performing the halo theme at a high school talent show. the chick who plays the violin part shreds it. if you're a halo fan, you'll like it. oh, and they throw the super mario theme song in for the people who dont know what halo is.

What an incredible find.
Not only is this the first time I've actually heard the Halo theme (yeah, I know... sue me
) but it was this outstanding performance. I've been a little bit mesmerized by it. I've watched it several times over the past day+ and it just amazes me how well arranged and performed it was.
Nuthin that good ever came out of *my* high school music crowd! And my own band never quite had the chops (or the imagination) to really try something ambitious.
Dang. Really really good stuff.

That was totally amazing.
Bungie.org has a better version of it up here. That copy has much better audio (even if it is frikin' huge).

quick and painless. a .45 to the back of the skull or being hit by a truck at like 85 mph so my skull liquifies would be preferable. im not one for suffering.
