YouTube Grabber

Some of you may be interested in this:

YouTube Grabber

It allows you to grab YouTube files and save them as a .FLV file. Will require the appropriate Codec to play on WMP10, but I think WMP11 will play as is.

Enjoy!

Re: YouTube Grabber

For those who would rather not install anything and still keep youtube (as well as other sites) vids, you can also use www.keepvid.com to download them.

With playing .flv files, there is a free standalone player on that site, and I personally use videolan player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ to play them with no issues.

Nice find Bentring!

Some folks may have trouble with the Codecs, so I thought I'd throw another recommendation in the ring.

Try the K-Lite Codec pack...pretty much covers everything under the sun.

Here's the link:

I'm sure someone will find it useful.

This is the codec pack that I've used for years now. Since the Kazaa days actually. It includes just about everything and anything you need.
