    Talking and the battle begins...

The much anticipated, much thought after, tactical shooter of 2006 has arrived, sure it's for our friends across the pond, but not even BI Studio's can keep our gaming community world apart, we will be united, at least in Armed Assault!

Tactical Gamer has already put up their Armed Assault cooperative dedicated server, and a number of us got about 6 hours of stick time this day, and it was good... Armed Assault has arrived, and here is some screenshots exclusively from our co-op sessions today.

As usual, you can find ALL my recent screenshots on this page:

(Just in case you don't like my commentary, lol.)

First Blood... and I ain't talking about John Rambo:

    203 rounds outbound:

    And everyones hero goes down,lol:

Then brother Jeevz follows his leader... to death:

I died...again, but this time in a rock:

    Another kill:

The team regroups after a major firefight:

We steal the required ammo truck, take a jeep, mount up and move out:

The jeep moves up to engage with it's 40mm automatic grenade launcher:

    Another sniper shot:

    Clearing the bridge:

To confident, almost at end objective, get careless:

See the one man ambush next to the building:

    Birdseye view:

    Wheres the wet weather gear?

I exchange shots with an enemy:

Grenade takes us all out at spawn in:

God Bless America, but we can't have our own version of Armed Assault... yet:

Ball scratching, praying, and testing night vision:

    Night ops:

    En-route to a new mission:

    The LZ:

"Form up, 2 teams, alpha and bravo, alpha on my left, bravo on my right, MOVE":

    Little SAW action:

Shadow flies well, and sprays the enemy with the chain gun:

After the thinning, prepare to move in:

I order Shadow to land, pick up troops and put them on rooftops for high ground support:

2 soldiers run for the bird, and as Jeevz's reaches for the door handle he takes a bullet to the chest:

    Weapon Sight:

Get use to this folks, this is Armed Assault NOT CounterStrike, lol:

Another pick up attempt, another down:

I mount up for a rooftop insertion:

    M134 action, nope...out of ammo:

    Rooftop insertion:

    Jeevz's again:

Jeevz's and I recon the target zone before we allow the AI near:

We make it into the hostile town, I low crawl up to set the charges:

    Boom 1:

    Boom 2:

Boom 3, part 1 of mission complete, Jeevz's watches as a bird, lol:

    Burn baby burn:

    I get cocky again:

I go high for some serious sniping, only to die from a distant BMP minutes later:

    The End...

Very nice collection of screenshots which have caught my interest into this game. Are the system requirements high?

    Re: and the battle begins...

Is Armed Assault worthwhile? How much is it? And, from the first few posts, is it actually available in the USA?
Damn the torpedos and full speed ahead!
