Re: This makes my heart rate rise just watching it

Yea, that was a great find. My only question is, what does he do when he gets to the bottom of the mountain? Call in a rescue chopper?

yeah I was wondering the same thing - I assume the same chopper that dropped him off at the top comes to get him there...

You can actually hear what sounds like chopper blades for a moment after he stops at the end.

What's even crazier, and something that I didn't notice until I had watched the video a few times, is that the first slope he's on - the one before he jumps over into the cliff - is rediculously steep.

yeah I just noticed that too - watching it for the 342nd time, I just watched the scenery... the valley below and peaks on the horizon are amazing...

Heh, didn't notice that the first time. The scream of the wind blowing past the guy's helmet mike seemed to drown out everything but his skis skidding along the rocks and snow. Gunna have to listen to it again. I suppose this is the sort of thing I am going to have to try at least ONCE before I get married and have kids and a family to be responsible to.

Heh. Perhaps the best avalanche-escape getup!

Of course, consider all the stuff you could crash into, seems like you're inviting disaster as much as able to avoid it.

Sweet video though!
