"Change Blindness" See if you can register what is changed

Did this in Cognitive Psych today, kicked my ass with the huge projector, seems easier on the small screen. for best effect,
right click and set to 250 msec gap and 2500 msec exposure.

Cool!

I attended a seminar on paradigms about 10 years ago (when paradigm shift was the big fad). We did a playing card test, similar to this one

I'm always amazed at what we think we see.

Fun!

For those who try it... each scene alternates back and forth between two different versions and you have to try to identify what is changing. (right click to select a new scene)

I didn't see any of them at first, but once I got the first one, I soon saw all of them except for Market.

PS. AFTER you see them all, try switching it to "No gap". This makes the answer VERY obvious, so don't do it until you have had enough of trying.

Wow. It took me a minute, but I thought I had found the tiny detail that was changing, something that you really had to hunt for. Turns out I was right - sort of. But that was not the only thing changing. Now I feel stupid.
