XM8's? I thought those were dead! Are those old mock-ups or personal re-creations?

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
I didn't know there was a difference in Florida in regards to the firearms license age limitation and firearm ownership age limitation... Wouldn't the age for firearm license be the same as for ownership? Presumably, if they made the license available before ownership could be aquired it'll be useless or dangerous?
Honestly, the M82 is bone jawwing. I'd prefer something compact, good ammo capacity, decent rate of fire, low recoil, and rails for options, and threaded barrel for flash supressor/silencer (which is illegal in the US).
XM-8 recreations...why? Hey, it's a good design and concept, but not good in battle, I guess, due to the weapon's mainly composite body.Acreo Aeneas

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
A rifle I can understand.
But check me if I'm wrong, MaXX now "owns" a fully automatic M4 with a standard fare 30 round mag. On top of that, he owns to six-shooters (one looks to be a 8"), 2 .45s, and a Glock 9mm (17?). And he's what 16? That is scary, real scary. No wonder why politicians want to put in place a total gun ban in every state.Acreo Aeneas

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
Whatever in the world makes you think that the AR15 in his picture is fully automatic???
And what exactly is scary about the fact that he owns a few guns? Either Maxx is scary or he's not, but the number of guns he owns doesn't change that...

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
Im actually more scared about the comment to bann all guns in all states. His dad was in the army im sure MAXX has had numberous talks about guns and safty. I was 15 when i got a paintball gun, 17 when i got a 30-06 for christmas and 18 i bought my first shotgun.
Nice guns maxx reallly a nice collection. Myself im a sucker for those six shootersthat sounds like a good idea trooper.

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
My dad served 12 years in the army (82nd airborn) and we have had many talks on gun safety and use, the m4 isnt 'fully' automatic, its burst shot, i own a liscence to shoot a gun (in designated areas such as rifle ranges) without needed supervision, but i dont own a gun carrying liscence or any 'pinks'. I handle myself very well with every piece of equipment i own and im very responsible. I might be a sketchy character but its not like i want to take my guns to school or anything. Yes im underage.
IE if you guys want a full life story on my family ill be more than happy to post that up.

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
Well, that clip doesn't look like a civilian 20 round mag. It looks like a standard issue 30 round mag. As for automatic, I assume it is and I also assume he was given it by his dad, who might have been allowed to keep his "automatic" M4 after leaving/retiring from service. Then again I could be wrong.
I don't know of many 16 year olds who own that many. Age aside, MaXX hasn't exactly been a model of maturity either.
My own opinions aside. I hope your dad has given you a good sit down chat about gun safety and such.
I also apologize if I have offended you (MaXX) and/or angered Cingular with my comments in regards to MaXX being scary.
Otherwise, instead of derailing this topic, I'll continue on with what I was gonna say about his collection...
A few questions about your collection. M4 aside, are those two guns next to the Glock, Smith and Wesson (think I spelt wesson wrong) .45s? If so, does the shorter barreled (5"?) one give a hard kick when fired? And is the Glock a 17?Acreo Aeneas

Re: gun show in miami baby woots woots
why are we worried about his maturity and what guns he has. Let his family decide that. I thought this thread was about a gun show?
that sounds like a good idea trooper.
