Yeah, he got nailed and spent a bunch of time in prison.
Now he's a tv producer for the CBC.

Well they know for sure because the 5th estate did a tv special on him, titled "Crime does pay". Like I said I tried to post a link to the story, but I need 15 posts before I can do that.
I guess you need to be pretty resourceful to evade teh DEA for a couple years, skills you can use in any profession!

Of course he can afford an ad that big! Even if he did get caught, he was running an operation that he claims brought in 100 mil annually. Nobody with that much cash stuffs it in a mattress. Its called an offshore account. He probably has a bunch of them.
