Re: What's your Start Page?
Eh, no one ever said I don't know how things are.
Anyway, I can take solace that corner-carvers.com is where I spend most of my time. It's the last bastion of all tech, no bull**** information on the web I'm pretty sure. Last time I checked, I'm one of the few regulars that is younger than 30.

Re: What's your Start Page?
I'm just embracing Microsoft's "Where Do You Want To Go Today?" buzz phrase.
I almost always open my browser with a purpose, and that purpose is not often the same. I've just never felt the need to load a particular page automatically. Setting browsers up this way became a part of my routine long ago, and I never had a reason to change.
When I set machines up for others, I usually point them at google.ca.

Re: What's your Start Page?
google.ca has the ability to search "only Canadian sites", and news.google.ca has a larger dose of Canadian news. I'm sure other country-specific domains follow this pattern, though I've never looked.
To understand the larger reason for the country-specific top-level domains, you would need to read some internet history.Peace through fear... since 1947!

Let's not forget that some countries have official languages, and some of these are not English.

Re: What's your Start Page?
Yea, I'll be 6 yo in a few months. LOL
It's my awesome kid.
Protopage lets me post pics, use RSS feeds, other websites (I'm using it with Game-Monitor.com to see the TG POE2 server) and links of course. It does a lot of other things too, I just use a small number of it's features.
