I've been trying to find a good wallpaper. Preferably about aircraft (A-10, B-52, B-1B,...) or M270 MLRS (steel rain). I can't find any of good quality.

The wallpaper is like that because I have 2 monitors that are pretty much the same size but at different resolutions.

On the top right panel, from left the right, the stuff is:
GPU temperature
Ambient temperature
Amarok (music player)
Pidgin (IM client)
Volume control
CPU load monitor
Network activity indicator
Force kill an application
Date and time
Lock screen
Log out
Shut down

What a heartwarming thread. So much Linux!

Right now I'm using bbLean (bb stands for blackbox) to escape the atrocity of the Windows desktop interface, and I rotate backgrounds with a convenient menu option whenever I get bored with my current one.
