Re: Who are you? (AKA the meet and greet thread)
East Stroud would be where my schooling occurs. My home is across the river from Harrisburg.
What irritates me most about this weird state is the weather. From about February to June you can never tell what tomorrow will feel like.
"It's SPRING!"
"It's winter."
"It's SPRING!"
"It's winter."
"It's SPRING!"
"Nope, it's definitely winter."

I travel to Skippack, PA on business often.
Ah those wonderful bouncing beauties from 2142....
On Topic: Hello everyone! I came to TG during during 2142's heyday. I've played a few other titles here and there at TG since but nothing has been able to capture my attention as much as it did. I'm hoping PS2 changes that."Nothing we're going to do...is going to fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting, or guarantee that we will bring...uh...um, gun deaths down to a thousand a year from...uh, from what it is now." - Vice President Joe Biden

Re: Who are you? (AKA the meet and greet thread)
Ummmm, hello everyone I am sushi and I have been at TacticalGamer.com for a year and a bit now. I came here for Battlefield 2 Project Reality, and happily played and enjoyed the great TG community until sadly, the PR server was shutdown
. I am not that active in many games with TG anymore but I feel that this awesome looking game will bring me back! I am a proud member of the Irregulars and only discovered this game recently, it amazed me with its scale and also, how many TGers are interested. I've been researching it and am going to sign up for the beta ASAP and hopefully I will see you all in TS. I don't know much about the factions of PS2, but my choice is looking like the rebellious New Conglomerate.
Thanks, Sushi

Re: Who are you? (AKA the meet and greet thread)
Hello all, Most the shooter community knows me......I'm the overly opinionated one that stirs everyone up
Been at TG since 2007. Kind of the end of BF2/ beginning of 2142 days. Really loved COD4, did some time in Black Ops.....hell I even did the admin route for awhile. Progressed through BC2 into BF3. Proud member of the 16th IHS, really looking forward to recapturing some of that 2142 magic in this large scale shooter. As long as the gunplay is fairly tight I see this keeping me entertained for a looooong time.

Damonte is... Damonte. He speaks in the third person. You're better off not knowing why.
Damonte joined TG when 2142 was just taking off. He's been an Irregular, part of the 3rd SFD, the 999th, and now the 6th. He's played PR, ArmA, Battlefield 2142, Left 4 Dead, Borderlands, a few MMO's, Killing Floor and some other random games. He dabbles in programming, works in IT, and talks with himself.
He's been an admin a few times, a game officer a few times, and now he's responsible for a lot of the behind the scenes technical work at TG. Apophis felt it was the best place to hide him. Damonte doesn't understand why.|TG-42nd| Damonte

Re: Who are you? (AKA the meet and greet thread)
Behold Experiment 626! The latest in a long line of tried and true incarnations of multicellular abominations designed and perfected by an evil genius! Fear the fluffy!

I've been around, oh...um for awhile. Got my start here at BF2 and refused to leave! The court order was never "officially" signed. (Money well spent there baby!)
Since my auspicious beginnings, I have played many titles here. I am perhaps best known for my role as the 2142 admin and recruitment sergeant where I was described as "A creature that has no mother but was created for the sole purpose of keeping newbs in line and single-handedly winning battles. Can be your mentor, worst nightmare or just some guy messing with your mind...often at the same time." I relentlessly drove recruits to "run, run, some more, and then when your dead...have your friend revive you and run again!" I wore out a lot of MK I Nike upgrades in 2142...ah yes good times.
I've played ARMA, PR, PoE, and currently embroiled in this social experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong called DAYZ. I currently am trying to rid the world of Bandits, zombies (and occasionally survivors) and enforce my dominance in that world. If elected king, monarch, emperor for life, I promise to bring back perishable food and beer!!!
I played the original Planetside when it first came out, but couldn't justify the monthly cost. There were quite a few bugs in those days and I was distracted by things like Evercrack, 1942, Desert Combat,...oooo and this new thing BF2...
Looking forward to bringing in a ton of new 'cruits to our a little family with this new PS2 (ack, tastes like console...Pah!).
