Re: Folding @ Home
I switched my daughters PC to Folding full time. My wife's already working on some other cooperative computing task. I am overclocking to gain some extra speed.

Re: Folding @ Home
Well I made a pretty lame userbar for teh TG-folding team. Feel free to use it if you want (it's in my sig). I'd like to see a few more people givin' er. on this.
I'm open to suggestions as to how to improve it..I was thinking a little bird flying by with a folding@home banner behind it. but I am no picasso. Cheers!

Re: Folding @ Home
JAMerica - is there a chance the userbar can display your score or the team score? Plus maybe your ranking in the team?

Re: Folding @ Home
Sorry for reserecting an otherwise dead post but I just checked and we're in the top 5,000. It might not seem like much but when you consider that there's almost 80,000 teams it suddently becomes a big number.

Re: Folding @ Home
I used to be on folding@home a couple of years ago but since I bought the new computer, I just haven't bothered installing it again. Now that I know there's a TG team, I've reinstalled and I'll be running 24/7.

Re: Folding @ Home
I just switched from the Overclock.net team to TG and am running the GPU2 client on my 2900XT. I don't leave the computer on all the time though.

Re: Folding @ Home
i'm in. gonna get the old comp up and running and use a kvm switch and have it run instead of my main comp. the 2 8800s don't need to be wasting power idling for folding one 6800 will do.

Re: Folding @ Home
Just a quick question.. I have an older rig (P4 2.6Ghz with 2Gb Ram and a 2600xt 512mb Ati Card). Can I run this without a serious drawdown in system resources? I'm very interested in joining the team, seems like a great cause.
