I almost want to sell mine now that the older PS3's are going for such a higher price. I know I can play some PSOne games on my PS3, my oldest son went to school and traded off some of his Nintendo DS games for a bunch of PS2 games, I know some worked, I never tried all of them. Resident Evil games of course did so whoopee, that was all I was interested in but he did get some other good games. I have yet to actually try any PS2 games on my system but it claimed it could and was the whole reason I splurged and got the 80Gb model at the time instead of the 40GB model. The comparison chart that Sony had claimed the 40Gb model would not play any PS2 games but would play PSOne games at that time.
