Update: Beta closes Jan. 10th (this Sunday off the top of my head, but don't quote me on it) so if you want to check it out, I suggest you do so ASAP.

I never could get the in game update to happen and gave up. It's at the top of my gamefly queue though so I'll give it a try when it comes out.
