I just looked up Major Nelson, cause I've never heard of him, and I can't see the comparison. Is there some point where he's lied in order to generate false word of mouth or something? If Microsoft has done the same thing, then they deserve the same criticism.

There have been several "reviews" over the lifetime of the blog. Also several "witty" commentaries. I will have to say in fairness, at least he admits he works for MS. All in all, I guess the point I was trying to make is that he positions himself along the same lines as something like Kotaku. Comments on all segments of the industry, even competitor products. Always seems to be able to get a pro Xbox spin in there. Like I said, he is an actual employee, but its not immediately obvious sometimes.

Well, his banner says "From inside the Xbox team", so I think that alone would place him solidly away from subversive viral marketing, such as alliwantforchristmasisapsp.

Really? Oh well. I didn't find any mention of that on his site or wikipedia, but if it's true then the people at Microsoft
    deserve the same criticism.

You're not going to find any mention of the evolution of Tactical Gamer on Wikipedia either, and you'll be hard pressed to find some of those details even on the TG site, that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Your point being? I wasn't trying to say it didn't happen. I was explaining why I didn't immediately make the connection between alliwantforchristmasisapsp and Major Nelson. As it has since appeared that there is a connection, I have stated that Microsoft is also at fault.

I honestly think the Blu-Ray player is worth it. The size of storage on there is just plain irresistible. The amount of space means they can put all the different languages on one disc. That includes text and voice over. No more localization issues, longer campaigns, and more.

A good example of this would be Resistance: Fall of Man. I'm still playing the game and I've put in so many hours as it is. Also the AI is giving me such a run for my money. It's one of the hardest games I've played, and I'm playing it on normal. There's a hard mode not to mention a super hard mode after that! The online too will last me forever. The price is worth it.

Honestly I worked for like 4 weeks and easily had more than enough money for a PS3 and games without the just announced price drop
