The event has been scheduled to start TODAY at 19:00GMT.
How big of a possibility would it be to make it two hours earlier at 17:00GMT?
The questioner understands that we all live in different time zones and what has possibly been written in stone stays.

The Kickoff time will not be changing and is set in stone, for many obvious reasons and some less obvious ones .

I hope I can get everything to work for this!
Charnus sounds like a blast to play in with PR gameplay.

Be advised, if you try to 7zip the files into the Arma folder and get the following error:
Unsupported compression method for '@PR_BETATG\praa_betatg.exe'.
The solution is to install a more recent version of 7zip onto your PC and try again. Then it works fine.
Play on the TG PR:Arma 2 server? Read the Server Rules. Problems? Contact An Admin.
Swedge's PR:Arma 2 Strategy Guide, PR:Arma 2 CounterInsurgency Strategies, Destruction Reference for PR:Arma 2, and Insurgency Guide (not PR).

Event Update
Hello!
I would like to thank everyone who has joined the server over the last few days to help make this event a success! The development team found several bugs that will no doubt be fixed shortly and have definitely appreciated the support of everyone that has turned up to help test the build.
Therefore, I am pleased to announce that the testing event has been extended until further notice while the developers work on a new test build! The server will remain passworded and running the [@PR_BETATG] build for the moment and we will keep you updated both via this thread and the equivalent thread on the realitymod forums.

Hey guys,
Was playing Sisyphus today around 0:20 GMT as SL and at the start of the map I was driving a truck with 2 FOBs to load into the Chinook. I'm pretty certain now that it was my truck that caused the explosion with the Chinook at main.
My only defence is that someone was shooting at the truck whilst I was driving and as far as I can tell took out a wheel when I was driving past. Reaardless, my sincere apologies about this accident BLUFOR guys.
I'm promise to be FOB wet-nurse, truck driver, latrine cleaner, other crappy job doer, etc. as penance in the next map.

...each to their own perhaps. I do like this side of things when we have the space and time to work. The start of the map does not lend itself to logistical challenges.
I think I would prefer if the initial map start-up had a least 1 truck and 1 helo pre-loaded with FOBs, as that is what's going to happen anyway. Hopefully prevents incidents like this due to congestion at base.
Bases need to be larger with at least 2 entrances/exits as well. The new maps seem to have these larger bases.Last edited by mad rabbit; 02-14-2012 at 12:19 AM.
