Anyway, its more like I'm desperately digging for any tactic that could benefit to any degree by having the commander out for less than half a minute. Sadly, its only long term that no commander hurts that much.
No.. I understand.. My recommendation is to work on overall strategy and derive your tactics to support the strategy, not digging for a tactic that specifcally targets the commander for the sake of killing the commander. Make sense?

    Re: The Enemy Commander

What I was trying to say with this tactic is to knock all command out, taking the commander out so he can not inform his team that other command items like arty uav and rader is out would give you more time to take objectives without having to deal with those assets. And would greatly weaken the opposing side which then has to repair all assests and have the commander find a new better hiding position once any of the assests are restored. In this way the commander only needs to be targeted once so the command infrastructure is down. After that the squad would fall back and continue reinforcing the assault. Targeting the commader was to break lines of communication, which in any battle is important, if the enemy can not talk even for a few seconds they are responding to the situation instead of making a situation.

This tactic is part of the main strat of taking flags, the whole plan is to make the enemy blind to your movements against thier flags. Once you obtain them dig in and hold them. The enemy then goes to where you have control not the other way around. The whole tactic above is to be a "Smoke Grenade" at the command level. You toss it out when you need to do something tactically that you don't want the other commander to see. Plus if commanders are doing things as posted in other forums he's close by the command structures anyways having the sniper take him out helps insure that all command structures can be destroyed wihtout interferance. One the squad completes the mission they should fall back and help reinforce any weak points in the defense.
