Special Forces Squad
I was reading Gamespots BF2 guide- http://www.gamespot.com/features/6127838/index.html, and I found this:
"Note that opposing Special Forces units won't appear on scans, so even if you think your base is clear of enemies, it may not be." Here: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6127838/p-9.html (bottom of the page)
If this is true, then having a Special Forces Sqaud would make it easier to blow up arty and bridges. The commander can only see the squad if he uses a UAV, so the Special Forces squad would stay away from the main action and hopefully go undetected to their objective. Just an idea, any thoughts?

I don't know, diveristy is good, If the leader goes down, who revives him? You might be able to take a tank if you suprise him, or he's bad, but youll be outclassed by longer range classes (the M4 is not the most accurate), and you wont have support.

Re: Special Forces Squad
Well, the whole theory behind a Spec Ops squad is to avoid detection altogether. I think a 3-4 man Spec Ops team would be a good idea as a test.
"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun."

Re: Special Forces Squad
I think a small (3-4) SF team like a small sniper team is a very useful addition. Not game winning, but definitely useful.
