Never lock the dogs when the wolf is in the darkness.

someone said they can take an attack heli out with 1 full "magazine" (i dont know what belt fed ammunition in a bucket is called) from a support weapon can take an attack heli out. ive unloaded about 400 rounds from a SAW into an attack heli and it didnt blow it up, im sure there is a soft spot on the heli, if so where is it? someone said the rotars? ill have to try it out to see if it works.

I don't know about the heli specifically, but the vehicles in BF2 do have softspots. Just this past weekend, I figured out how to take out an enemy tank with one tank shell. Not easy, but I have been able to replicate it enough times to be confident that the enemy tanks were at full health.
Jesus saves.....the rest of you go Spec-Ops and Assault

The most effective way is to use the spotted command and hunker down to wait for the attack chopper to move in

hehe, that must be you I've been running up against I know that several times I've out flanked or outmanuevered enemy tanks and gotten a couple of hits on them before they turn around and kill me in one shot. Pretty frustrating. Are you doing this by hitting the front tread as previously suggested? Because I've been one shot by that TOW from an APC while in a tank too.

Well, if the tank is smoking and its at a flag, you can use your grenades, but only if your not alone, 3 guys or so should do it, in any case, throwing the grenades and then go back into hiding will also force a guy out of a tank or keep him away from the flag

So were is this spot??? I already know about hitting the treads... that takes 2 rounds.

ALSO there is NO gun that affects tanks, besides the jets and maybe the hilo!! not even the blackhawk minigun. So dont even try to get into a fight with it in your humvee, or hilo. Grenades take 1 bar from tanks, which is nothing. The soft spot on the Hilo's is the top where the engine is, or the tail. The minigun on the backhawk can take out an apc before it over-heats the first time.

But i have still not been able to get a 1 shot kill tank vs tank. help please.
