Re: My personal favorite squad setups

    Hey Phelan,

1stMIP (C-Team) meets only on Mon and Thu. Rest of the week, we join other squads (if we play). So it was probably another squad with some C-Team members...

An armor squad is a good idea. We also use armor when it is available (=mechanized infantry)

If you had an ammo problem, then you must be a really good tanker staying alive that long with air support squads getting better and better, I find it very difficult to stay alive in armor no matter where I hide...

Well I know I was hitting you a lot so I figured it might be C-Team. Now that I think about it though you couldn't have been the squad leader because you were fighting too much.

Zatar is a good map (probably the best) for an armor squad for a few reasons:

    1) Only one attack Heli and it's constantly being fought over so you don't need to fear it so much.

    2) The jets are only fighters and only get two bombs.

    3) The open space makes for plenty of room to manuever and very little cover for enemy infantry.

    4) Plenty of tanks to choose from with 4 different spawn points.

That night we were really lucky to have some great pilots keeping the enemy preoccupied on the other end of the map. Also we kept close enough to the enemy that the smart pilots were afraid of TKs but far enough away that we couldn't be C4ed (Although you got us once before we had optimized the squad load out and tactics.)

I'm not so much good as I am cautious.

Oh man, that was funny. There must have been 6-8 AT guys in that final base we were assaulting. You guys pretty much stayed on the perimeter there and I don't blame you. Me and a buddy of mine were harrassing the base with a few HMMV runs and there were AT missiles *everywhere*!

Haha, well thanks for the distraction at that last point I was on fire running away from the base with Miles right next to me keeping me alive.
