Well, I would use AA emplacements if there were more of them. Jeeps are mobile and do a pretty good job at taking out helos.

Its almost impossible to take a jet down with AA. I can count on fingers of only 1 hand how many times AA missle took me out while in a jet.

Its really annoying when that happens. Frequently it's not a head shot (so long as jusb isn't sniping you) but you have no idea where the shot came from.
