Honestly if the AA helps keep copters and jets off your people thats even better than having someone rush out there once they come to go get into it. You have more weapons aat your disposal if you remain at the position, and it doesn't hurt your team at all. If you remain near you are proactive and you leave your squad and team with more options.

I couldn't say it better. That's what I'm talking about.
    Something I've learned from BF:V:
    - never fight Mi8 with M16; YES, the 10 of you will definately bring him down, but he will kill 5 of you, and it's 9 ppl less for your team - and 1 player in F4 can do the whole thing more efficient by himself!
    - ppl hate BF:V because tanks are so easy to kill - still, while in tank, you will almost definately kill 2 ppl before they get you, and 3 more will do their best to demolish your vehicle.... that's 5 ppl. If you have 3 tanks on map, and use all of them like this - the 3 of you will tie 15 enemies! YES, they will kill you eventually, but the price is sooo high... it's pointless. This is the best way to loose the battle (fight tanks with infantry, specially in open areas).

I believe the only way to use your human resources in the optimal way is to let jets deal jets, so that you can have the most men on the ground fighting with their rifles.

It takes patience and time and expertise, and those are things you may not have at the moment. It's at the VERY least, completely disabling to your mission.

Now, if one team actually manned up 3 stations, 1 mobile AA, and had their fighters in the air, the other team would truly be shut down. They would find it impossible to operate effectively.

But the cost of putting 4-5 men on AA stations ... questionable.
    Totally agree with you.
