Re: SL Advice / Training?
BE SPECIFIC.
Especially on defense. Tell individual players where to go and what to do. When I am in a squad and the SL says "OK defense" then I find I keep running around trying to find a spot that no one else is at. I feel the SL is much more in control when he has told individual guys what to do. It shows he has an idea of the big picture. Communication also increases because squad members feel more important because they have a responsibility. The squad works better once everyone knows EXACTLY what they are doing.
Scared of 'micro-managing'? I don't believe its possible to micro-manage on defense no matter how much you talk.

Re: SL Advice / Training?
That is exactly what I do when SL. I'll let my guys pick their own defense spot that they are comfortable with. Plus, like I've said before, I am a lazy SL. I don't want to nit-pick at every single aspect of the squad, I want them to do whatever it is they do best and have fun.

I thought I wanted a career, turns out I just wanted paychecks.
