    I agree that smoke is way underused. It's actually pretty sad; it's incredibly useful in practice, although it sounds rather inneffectual. The big prize with smoke is obscuring lines of fire, I find. Much is said about providing cover for a squad moving in the open or on a flag, but it's also very nice if you're taking shots from 2 directions. Pop a smoke in one or both, and short of running up and knifing you they have to wait around for it to clear.

    Hmm...interesting question. I know that they don't have a timed fuze, because they will not explode until impact. I'm betting that they could be compared to explosive tipped bullets. They basically are "hot" at all times, but it takes a really significant impact to set them off. That's my theory.

    Anyone know for certain? If not, google is your friend

    I believe they have a spin fuze, so that they have to rotate a certain amount (and thus travel a certain distance) before arming.

    From what I know if you fire it to low it would either bounce forward or kill you
