It means an even exchange, one for one.

    Its a movie quote.

Now, quid pro quo, what does "Non Ego, Adeo Laboro" mean?

You made me look like a real a**... .
Silence of The Lambs. My favorite all time movie.

No, not at all. You just weren't thinking movies. . .you were thinking about birds.

I, as the Rooster, think there should be more birds on the map. Birds all over the map. Juicy little Pea Hens. . . mmmmmmmmmm.

Birds aren't random, they are a triggered ambient effect. The triggers are:

    1)move
    2)fire
    3)explosion

If you see birds flying out of trees, either a chopper/plane went by the trees at low altitude, someone threw a grenade in there or fired near the trees, or someone entered the trigger area.

"Turnes? How lovely. If I help you it will be Turnes plus two. Quid pro Quo, I tell you things, you tell me things. Not about the case, about yourself."

    Any guesses?
Silence of the Lambs of course :-D Clarice....

The first one that jumps to mind is directly east of the Power Plant on Mashtuur. There are some grassy hills between the buildings and the riverbed, and the birds will fly up when you approach.

    You forgot to add:

    4) Someone on your squad ate Mexican

I know, it's probably a combination of 1-3, but I figured it deserved its own category.

Next one that comes to mind is in Clean Sweep, some at the (oh crap, I don't have a map with names) northernmost CP and along the road north of the small airstrip.

Actually, you see them almost anywhere there are trees. I always consider that if I'm close enough to see them, 80% of the time I set them off. The other 20% I'm dead.
