Re: Birds
"Quid pro quo" = This for that
It means an even exchange, one for one.
Its a movie quote.
Now, quid pro quo, what does "Non Ego, Adeo Laboro" mean?Only the dead have seen the end of war.

Silence of The Lambs. My favorite all time movie.
Roughly translated, the motto reads: I cant, I have to go to work.

Re: Birds
Birds aren't random, they are a triggered ambient effect. The triggers are:
1)move
2)fire
3)explosion
If you see birds flying out of trees, either a chopper/plane went by the trees at low altitude, someone threw a grenade in there or fired near the trees, or someone entered the trigger area.

Re: Birds
The first one that jumps to mind is directly east of the Power Plant on Mashtuur. There are some grassy hills between the buildings and the riverbed, and the birds will fly up when you approach.
