Re: Killing swimmers
Yeh, plink them all. If its quiet and im in no immediate danger i like to wander nonchalantly down to the shore line just so they can savour their impending doom.

Re: Killing swimmers
C4 does work underwater, but don't toss it into the deep parts. For example, if a squad is swimming to the southern ramp on the east side of Karkand, put some C4 on the segmets of the ramp that are covered in water and it should detonate as normal.

Re: Killing swimmers
I say wait til they are all the way across...that way they've wasted a long time swimming and then have to wait to respawn.

Re: Killing swimmers
Ezactly. Let them waste a few minutes getting across and when theyve almost reached land, light em up and eat them.

Re: Killing swimmers
since they have no way to shoot you, it'd be funny to taunt them a little before you do end it - wave your knife around or whatever...
ok.. maybe that's not funny.. maybe that's sadistic.... bah - there's such a fine line...

Soldiers swimming in the water are like little presents for your Kill: Death ratio. An early Christmas for your score, so to speak.

Re: Killing swimmers
I whip out my pistol and take pot shots at them. I dont want to kill them, I just want to terrorize them. Aint nothing better than watching a swimmer flail around in the water trying futilely to avoid getting shot with them knowing you have their life in your hands. Good stuff.

I like to fire wildly into the water, while making teabagging motions.

Re: Killing swimmers
On Wake-Island I saw a squad of SpecOps swimming to the Arty-Island and I took care of them with my boat. They kept trying so since then I just shoot them.
For me it's easy: just shoot don't ask...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I go to great lengths to mess with swimmers. I like to drive an APC directly in to their path so they have to swim around it while I switch in and out of the port guns and take pot shots at them.

Re: Killing swimmers
Heh I had a very similar thing happen to me on wake. I was in a chopper that got shot down and for some sadistic reason I lived. I started the long slow trip to shore just to find a squad lined up on the shore. They didn't shoot at first. It was like wandering into an alley and finding a bunch of hoodlums. We all just kind of looked at each other. There I was treading water with 100+ lbs of gear on with them staring at me. I would swim a bit right and they would move right. I swam left and they moved left. I made it to shore and got lit up by several guns at once. I mean didn't these guys have better things to be doing? Their freaking island was being attacked by an army and they were sitting there sharpening their knives with an evil gleam in their eyes....
