Cracking me up (nearly in tears). I would love to have seen the BR movie of that. Irony says they all got carpet bombed just after unloading 5 clips into your doomed dog-paddler!

I like to wait for swimmers near the shore, holding up a towel, that hides the shock-paddles that I have charged ready for them

    Light them up.

In war if you hesitate you die.

Ask yourself this, would they allow you to come ashore before opening up on you?

I've been shot in the water myself. I've never been upset about it either because I'd of done the same thing if I were in their position.

I'm a gentleman (unlike you heathens). I let them get on shore, then I noob tube them from about 4 meters and smile at the fact that they are being a whiney little girl about the noob tube

    Re: Killing swimmers

I say mess with them by taking pistol pot shots and waving the knife around. Maybe make a few comments with all talk, or if they are on TS taunt them over that also. If you have access to a boat or APC that is watertight make them swim around you and just sit or pace them to screw with them.

If it is in the middle of all out war when I see them I normally just wipe them out, if I am on my way to the battlefield see above.

    Sidenote:
I really think that the black hawk should be able to drop off emergency rafts for stranded swimmers if them see them below so they have a chance to make it to shore without one of us there to taunt them. Sorta like DCX for BF1942.

I never use a gun on swimmers, always a toaster.

Yeah, I'd love to see that. You'd get one person flying around dropping rafts for swimmers, and fourteen thousand people flying around trying to drop rafts on bad guys just because it's funny.

Battlefield 2 does not lend itself to cool stuff like that

Watch a mod come out that turns BF2 into HL2: DM

Now thinking about that, that would just be freaking awesome. Have all vehicles almost indestructible and have the blackhawks drop random objects on people below and such.

Doesn't it seem easier to shoot people in to the water, even if they are moving?

    Easier? Yes. More entertaining? Nope.
