Killing swimmers
Original discussion and poll:
http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52801
I would like to get your input on this, guys. Do you kill swimmers in the water, or wait for them to come ashore and defend themselves? I've been shot in the water many times, and never felt raw about it, but that discussion raises some good points, a la the Gentlemen's Agreement.

Re: Killing swimmers
I light 'em up. What the heck are they doing going for a swim in the middle of a war, anyway? Maybe they're elite Navy frogmen!

Re: Killing swimmers
You are not at the beach sunbathing. Enter the water at your own risk. I'll drop a swimmer in a heart beat. What does that do you say? It takes one more gun out of the fight.

Re: Killing swimmers
swimmmers are either there by choice or they already got unlucky in the air... their tactical situation is the direct result of their own actions...
when I do go swimming however and I dont want to be spotted, I swim on my back... its as slow as swimming forward but you dont create as large a visual effect..."Victory without Honor, is Pointless..."

Re: Killing swimmers
Swimmers should be punished for trying to sneak across the water! Wait on shore for them to get close enough to knife.

Re: Killing swimmers
You know what really sucks? You see a whole squad up tight swimming across to the eastern side of karkand...and I have C4...so I throw C4 in the water, wait 3 secs and hit the detonator....and nothing....so stupid that C4 doesnt work in water...

Re: Killing swimmers
Is it? I would think that given the electronic nature of the detonator, you would need to do something special to make it work in the water.

Re: Killing swimmers
Soldiers aren't meant to swim or the TG gods would have seen fit to provide them with an amphibious armored vehicle.
Hence: light up the swimmers for they are committing a heresy.Kornkob

Re: Killing swimmers
Toss, smoke grenades at their heads that will teach them to swim without lifevests. (PS if you hit them on the head you can actually kill them with a smoke grenade....I've heard)
