Re: What movement and fire tactics do you use most?
It is mostly used at squal-level operations and bounding units are fire teams Egoat. Therefore fire team members always follow the lead of their fire team leaders. In our case, 3 alpha members move, take cover and then 2 bravo members move forward and take cover.

Id like to add to john' last comment. If you are in a less organized squad then the 1st MIP...., 2 people can already use bounding overwatch. When the rest of your squad is rushing, and you feel some more vigilance is needed, set the example by turning around at a covered position and coveing the teammates behind you. Often they will copy your behaviour, increasing the general awareness and cohesion of the squad.

Al, I do believe the support kit does in fact run slower than all the other kits with the SAW ro equivalent equipped. There have been many times I've taken point because I'm support and I've been passed up by my own guys at a normal run because I move slower.
I have only successfully revived one person with a medic kit an dthat was I believe Evil Lemon about 3 weeks ago during MnM it was a good feeling. But took me forever to figure out how to do it.
I know I run faster with my pistol out as support. But that'd be like drawing a huge bulls-eye on me with a giant glowing neon sign that says, "Shoot-me" since I haven't quite learned how to use the pistol.

Chicken, if you look at the kit selection screen when you go to select your kit and spawn point, underneath each weapon are 3 bars. Most kits only have 2 white bars and one gray bar, that means that they run faster. If a kit has all 3 white bars, that means that they will run slower (ie support).

Excellent! Thanks much. So I suppose 2 squad members moving alternately and providing cover for each other is the "buddy rush" by definition?

correct me if i am wrong, but i think the bars indicate the _distance_ you can sprint - not the speed of your sprint.
