I +rep when I want to, thank you very much.

You went to the effort, and posted, so whether it worked or not is beside the point in my opinion. +rep to you, sir. Thanks for trying.

Re: FIX: Punkbuster B/ pnkbstrb.exe Handshaking failures.
pwn3ge106's explanation of what to do is great.
I was having similar issues not to the extent of getting kicked out every time but handshaking errors, packet loss error, connections lost, etc.
Once you follow pwn3ge106's advice, also check your video settings.
You can search the web for BF2 tweak guides that tell you about video settings.
I manually re-installed Punkbuster and reduced my video settings.
BF2 loads faster, I get on servers faster, and I don't get kicked off anymore.
Hope I didn't jinx it.
Could be PB is trying to send too much information through the line and not getting a response and booting you??
Good luck.

Re: FIX: Punkbuster B/ pnkbstrb.exe Handshaking failures.
Well I had the same problem with handshaking failures For PR BF2. And bufl4x told me just to portforward the router. And it successfully solved my problems.
