no mouse/keyboard response in server
Once I join a sever my mouse and keyboard no longer respond to input.
The cursor is visible.
Everything works right up until I join the game.
Symptom not present in other games.
Only change made since last time I played was an update and run of spybot, including immunization.
Anyone familiar with a similar problem?
I am googling.
EDIT: My other profile works fine. It appears to have to do with the controls file. I tried copying them from the working profile but it hasn't fixed it. What all files do I need to restore?Last edited by Namebot; 08-14-2008 at 03:12 PM.

Yes your controls for that profile got corrupt. Reset them to default in your options area and then if you have a backup copy it over.(copy everything but the profile one if its a different profile)

EXAMPLE:
Copy over all files from 0001 --> 0002 except profile.con
Is that correct?

It may work only doing the controls.con file but yes in general that is correct.

I tried copying just the contents of the control file over. It wasn't until I copied over all files(except profile.con) that I got it to work.
