Ensure that you got all the maps in your levels folder:

Battlefield 2/mods/pr/levels

if nothing is in there it might be the levels installer didnt work properly.

It helps alot if you run BF2 in windowed mode so that way you can identify the error that is causing CTD.

copy and paste error into here, you can just use CTRL C when the error window pops up and it will copy the text to paste.

How to run in windowed mode:

I just got a mid-game crash to desktop on Archer. Was playing for about 20 minutes beforehand. The PR site is down right now I guess to I'll post it in bugs forum when I can get back on. Gave me this:

most people wont help u because u have 71 FPS

-try updating direct x, video drivers... does PR require .NET as well?

I had the same thing after Muttrah, although it was some bf2 dll thingy i believe.

I hope it's a one time thing.

Update: Searched PR for 5 minutes, found this, tried it and it worked, Im playing on 1024 completely fine now,

Worked for me too.

I had done a complete uninstall, and install as Warehouse described, it still did not work. So I tried this. And it works. I highly recommend to try this.

ERRR i cant get this to work !!! i get the load up screen to come on but it shows no map? all i see after i click join is a grey box on the left side with nothing in it ?( no pic of map )the load bar goes up to 100 % then it crashs ?

FYI, I did not do the warehouse suggestion, cuz I am a lazy effer. So I changed the res and dropped textures down to medium. All is good. Some crashes happen still but now it is server side.

I'm getting crashes immediately after i logon to a map, i almost can't even join a squad before i crash to desktop. I run Vista 64 bit, 1280x1024. I've tried the add the "fonts"-files fix. I've tried the medium texture. I've tried compatibility sp2. I've run pbsetup. Worse thing, it worked better yesterday. Although i had a couple crashes before mid-game too, and on map-load like everyone else. I've tried to run it in windowed mode to get some errors, but no errors.

I'm going hardcore on this problem! What can i do Fuzz?? I'm a technical guy, put me into the debugging here

Hah! I found the problem! Our good old friend PB was the cause! Just great! Well not it all works again!
